The goal of the Division of Foreign Language Education is to train foreign language teachers needed by the Turkish educational system.

Our division has expanded its objectives of teacher training upon the extension of compulsory primary education to eight years.
The Division of Foreign Language Education has got three different programmes: English, French and German Language Teaching Programmes. Each teaching programme has its own undergraduate (BA) and graduate (MA & PhD) programmes.

Our division offers educational and training opportunities supported through modern equipment and technological classes.

The graduates of the department can work as foreign language teachers in public schools of the Ministry of Education and private schools. In addition, they can also enter an academic life by pursuing master and doctoral degrees.
